Information Regarding your Child’s Report:
- Your child has taken part in the ‘Back on Track’ curriculum from September – December. The ‘Back on Track’ curriculum looked closely at the fundamentals within Maths, Reading and Grammar from the previous year that had been potentially missed due to the global pandemic and the changes to schooling from March – July. Using the ‘Back on Track’ curriculum data, class teachers have been able to pinpoint the gaps and focus on precision teaching to fill those gaps.
- Your child has also completed formal assessments in Maths, Reading and Grammar and the scores are shared on your child’s report.
- An effort grade (for Maths, Reading and Writing) has been given to your child based on the effort they have shown since their return in September. The effort grades are from 1-5 with 5 being the highest effort shown.
- The PiXL gradings displayed on your child’s report are based on the scores from their recent assessments and their effort grade.
