We are launching our monthly art competition which is open to all members of our school community: staff, parents and children alike.
Participation is voluntary, but we think it will be a great way to build cultural capital and creativity across our school community.
Each month, we will introduce a new artist, including visuals of some of their most famous artworks.  Everyone is encouraged to investigate the artist further and either:
-    create their own version of one of the images, or
-    use the images to inspire their own original artwork.
Entries can be painted, drawn, sculpted, collaged etc and should be returned to class teachers by the final Friday of the month (don’t worry, we will send out reminders).  Entries will be judged by Miss Stockley and her team of pupil art leaders.  Winners will be shared in the newsletter and exhibited on our gallery wall.
