Home School Agreement
The William Hogarth School recognises that children learn best when a successful partnership exists between home and school.
This agreement sets out responsibilities to ensure our children reach their full potential
Together we will:
- Have trust in each other
- Respect each other
- Have pride in our school
- Promote the safe use of the internet
- Provide a safe environment
- Support our pupils to achieve
At school we will:
- Provide a balanced curriculum which meets the needs of your child
- Achieve high standards of work and behaviour
- Keep you informed of your child’s progress
- Communicate with you about school events
- Encourage your child to take care of their surroundings and other people
- Provide positive role models in our language and behaviour
- Provide a nutritional and balanced meal
As a family we will:
- Support the school’s policies and procedures
- Support my child’s learning by reading with them at home and ensuring completion of homework
- Inform the school of any concerns or problems regarding my child and will not send my child to school unwell
- Attend regular meetings at school to discuss my child’s progress
- Ensure that my child attends school on time every day, and ready to learn
As a child I will:
- Bring all equipment I need each day to help me with my learning
- Wear my school uniform
- Follow the school rules
