Friends of William Hogarth School

Hello! Welcome to the Friends of William Hogarth School, which is our name for the Parent Teacher Association.

Being the local school with a big heart we believe it’s really important for us all to be involved in making the children’s education as rich, varied and fun as possible – so there’s always something exciting to look forward to throughout the school year, whether it’s tasting delicious cakes at our Bake Sales, getting spooked at the Halloween Fair or trying your luck at our highly competitive Bingo Nights.

Our two big annual events are the Summer Fair and the Christmas Fair. In June we take over the playground with a fabulous array of inflatables and stalls with a sizzling barbecue, and in December we deck the halls – literally – and serve mulled wine while the children play games and even meet the man himself in Santa’s Grotto.

Our goal is always to put the fun into fundraising and, at the same time, strengthen the bond between school, home and the local community. The money we raise at events goes towards anything from sports equipment to musical instruments to school trips – and it’s all the more valuable knowing a lot of laughs were had in the process of raising it.

We’re always open to new ideas and helpers are always very welcome! Please ask at the school office or speak to your class rep if you’d like to get involved.
